Cell Tower Technician

Full-Time Tower Climber

Immediate Openings For:

  1. Tower Hands 1 (Apprentice 1)
  2. Tower Hands 3 (Apprentice 2)
  3. Lead Tower Hand (Journeyman)
  4. Tower Crew Lead (Foreman)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair cell phone tower equipment
  • Maintain towers in a good working order
  • Test functionality as well as build and replace materials on top of towers, such as radios, hybrids, antennas
  • Climb elevated structures
  • Rig ropes, knot tying, lifting/hoisting materials up onto cell towers, water tanks, and rooftops
  • Install coaxial, power and fiber optic cables

Role Requirements:

  • Have verifiable climbing certifications
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Complete a background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Be in good physical condition (able to bend, twist, squat, and lift 100 lbs.)
  • Able to climb 350 ft. with appropriate harness, rope, and tools
  • Cannot be scared of heights (heights including towers, rooftops, water tanks, and other elevated structures)
  • Be able to travel Monday-Friday if necessary

Telecom Electrician

Full-Time Electrician with Telecom Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install electrical wiring, stripping, and splicing
  • Execute circuit testing and continuity and safety 
  • Install switches, circuit breakers, ground leads, and other electrical components

Role Requirements:

  • Have knowledge in wire pulling from high to low voltage
  • Have experience in pipe bending
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Complete a background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Be in good physical condition (able to bend, twist, squat, and lift 100 lbs.)
  • Ability to travel Monday-Friday if necessary

 

Telecommunications Construction Manager

Full-Time Construction Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serving as job-site representative for iMG to deliver a quality product to the carrier
  • Assisting in awarding various sub-contractors required for a project, includes equipment and materials 
  • Overseeing coordination and providing input with utility companies providing services and infrastructure for a specific project, includes schedule and cost management (as needed)
  • Developing initial project cost estimates and taking lead responsibility with the budgetary management of various cost components throughout the duration of a project
  • Monitoring and ensuring schedule performance and quality workmanship of employees and contractors 
  • Working closely with a customer, architect, and associated consultants in developing site specific engineering options for a project
  • Providing proposal requests, requests for information, supplemental instructions, and other contract documentation as required on behalf of iMG and the carrier’s interests
  • Reviewing and approving employee time and any sub-contractor payment requests for each project
  • Attending local meetings, approval meetings, and conferences on behalf of the carrier documenting and taking action on items in iMG and the carrier’s interests
  • Maintaining relationships and acting as an iMG representative acting as the carrier’s liaison in matters associated with Federal, State, and Municipal matters, including the City’s permitting and inspection requirements
  • Serving as an information resources by coordinating work, participating in meetings, resolving disputes, providing ongoing deeback, and coordinating project punch lists and close-outs

Role Requirements:

  • Related bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Management
  • 3 years of directly related leadership experience with construction background, general contractor experience
  • Strong consultative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Previous site management experience and experience maintaining a good relationship with clients & suppliers
  • Hands-on experience with directing the activities of contractors and crews for mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural construction in an industrial setting
  • Ability to read engineering drawing maps
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Project

Additional Role Requirements:

  • Have a verifiable climbing certifications 
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good riving record
  • Complete a comprehensive background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Be in good physical condition (able to bend, twist, squat, and lift 100 lbs.) 

Optional Role Requirements:

  • OSHA certification (10 or 30 hour)
  • First Aid/ CPR certifications
  • Ability to travel Monday-Friday if necessary

Warehouse Associate/Inventory Control

Full-Time or Part-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory control: sorting materials in their respective boxes, recording on-hand materials
  • Tidying up the warehouse in general (keeping it clean and organized)
  • Putting together project & site materials (i.e. creating construction packets and loading up the trucks with the appropriate materials)
  • Office cleaning: taking out office’s trash once a week and completing tasks such as changing out light bulbs, wiping down office desks, vacuuming

Preferred Role Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawing maps
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
